👉 Construction Engineer
JOB DESCRIPTION
Main Responsibilities
- Implement construction drawings and perform quantity take-offs based on design documents
- Supervise on-site construction activities (progress, quality, and safety)
- Prepare and manage construction schedules (timeline, schedule)
- Inspect incoming materials and carry out acceptance procedures for each stage
- Coordinate with subcontractors, construction teams, and supervision consultants
Technical Tasks
- Read and interpret technical drawings (structural, architectural, basic MEP)
- Prepare construction methods and shop drawings (if required)
- Coordinate and resolve on-site technical issues
- Prepare inspection, acceptance, and as-built documentation
Management Tasks
- Report progress, quantities, and costs periodically
- Control materials and manpower usage
- Coordinate with relevant departments: QS, QA/QC, and design teams
REQUIREMENTS
Education
- Bachelor’s or College degree in Civil and Industrial Construction or related fields
Experience
- 1–5 years of relevant experience
- Experience working on construction sites is an advantage
Skills
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Excel, and MS Project
- Strong skills in reading drawings and quantity take-off
- Good teamwork and task management skills
- Problem-solving ability on-site
